Ingredients
For the dough:
- 275g plain flour
- 5g dry yeast
- 20g caster sugar
- 1g teaspoon salt
- 100g eggs
- 50ml semi-skimmed milk
- 80g butter, spread
- 100g Kit Kat Sauce
To finish:
- 30g golden syrup
- 10ml hot water
- 30g Kit Kat Mix-ins
Preparation

1Add the flour, yeast and sugar to a large mixing bowl. Place the salt on the opposite side of the bowl

2Add the beaten eggs and the milk and mix till the dough starts to come together.

3Slowly add the butter spread in clumps till fully incorporated then knead on a high speed for 6 minutes

4Lightly flour the work surface and roll out the dough to a rectangle of 20 x 30cm then spread over the Kit Kat Sauce.

5Roll up the dough like a Swiss roll, then cut it in half vertically then plait each half then gently lift into the prepared tin.

6Cover with a piece of greased clingfilm and leave to prove in a warm place until it has doubled in size.

7Bake the loaf at 200°C for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 150°C and continue baking for another 25 minutes.

8Gently heat the golden syrup with the hot water, then brush over the top of the babka

9Sprinkle over the Kit Kat Mix-ins
