Ingredients
For the batter
  • 75ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 75ml water
  • 55g unsalted butter
  • 15g caster sugar
  • 125g plain flour
  • 100g eggs (2 large), beaten
  • 100g plain flour
  • 5ml vanilla extract
To Finish
  • 200g KITKAT® Sauce
  • 200g KITKAT® Mix in

    To Make the Batter: Place the milk, butter, sugar, and water in a pan and bring to a simmer.

    Take the pan off the heat, add the flour, and mix, then return to the heat and stir vigorously until the dough comes together.

    Cook for 3-4 minutes, then remove from the heat, transfer to a mixer bowl with a paddle attachment.

    Mix the dough on a low speed to reduce the temperature, then gradually add in beaten eggs to the dough and mix until smooth and shiny.

    Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a big star nozzle.

    To Finish: Pre-heat the fryer to 374°F.

    Pipe the dough into the fryer into roughly 10cm long and fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown all over.

    Remove from the fryer and drain any excess oil.

    Dip the ends of the churros into the KITKAT® Sauce and coat with KITKAT® Mix-ins.
