In 1936, in collaboration with the pharmaceutical company Hoffmann-La Roche, Nestlé launched Nestrovit; a condensed milk product. Nestlé decided that they wanted to try to create a solid, tablet form of Nestrovit and came up with the idea of adding cocoa butter. So, as a result, in 1937 MILKYBAR® was created.

The recipe is different today, but at MILKYBAR® we still love milk – you only have to look at our simple white chocolate recipe to see how much!
