Garden gourmet NHS workers

GARDEN GOURMET salutes all our NHS workers for their amazing work!

Around the country, millions of people and businesses are showing their appreciation for NHS staff working on the front line during the coronavirus pandemic.

Supermarkets have introduced a dedicated timing for key workers, a 100-year-old war veteran has raised money by doing garden laps, Leon has spearheaded a Feed the NHS campaign and numerous businesses have pulled together donation bags filled with food and drinks. Not to forget local communities & restaurateurs dishing up hundreds of free meals to NHS staff

Nearer home, our the Garden Gourmet team were keen to provide a hot, nourishing and delicious meal for all front-line workers and anybody else who are working tirelessly to help support the NHS

The team got in touch with Interserve who have been working with the NHS during COVID-19 to check if Garden Gourmet could support with free product donationsInterserve have played a key role in the construction of the NHS Nightingale Hospital in Birmingham, provided round-the-clock support to vulnerable patients in the community and have been supporting with catering and domestic facilities to NHS hospitals treating COVID-19 patients

Our product donations were to include the Garden Gourmet Sensational Burger & Garden Gourmet Fillet Pieces. These products are 100% plant-based protein and delicious! Both products can be served as a main meal and are very easy to cook. They taste delicious and appeal to Vegans, Vegetarians as well as Flexitarians. And most importantly, they are perfect for grab and go as well as for sit down lunches.

Luckily for us Interserve were happy to take on our donations and we were able to play our part in providing hot and delicious plant-based meals across Russells Hall HospitalKing Georges Hospital & The Nightingale Hospital in Manchester.

A little gesture to show how much we appreciate the NHS, the true heroes of our country!

A massive thanks to Interserve for the opportunity to serve the nation & for the positive feedback.
