Celebrating Sustainable Foodservice Success at the Footprint Awards 2025

We joined some of the industry’s most future-focused organisations at the Footprint Awards 2025, a night that celebrates the real change-makers in sustainable foodservice. Our commitment to corporate sustainability and embedding eco-friendly practices across our operations and supply chains was recognised in multiple categories, reinforcing our dedication to driving progress where it matters most.

As a longstanding partner of the Footprint Awards, we value the important role they play in championing progress and raising the bar for responsible business across the out-of-home sector. These awards continue to highlight the innovation in foodservice and collaboration driving meaningful change within our industry.

Celebrating our Wins

We’re proud to have taken home the Waste Management and Reduction Award, as well as being highly commended in the Sustainable Supplier and Environmentally Efficient Logistics Awards. 

Each of these areas represent a core focus in our journey towards a more resilient and regenerative food system, from reducing waste and conserving water to improving transparency and performance across our supplier network. 

These wins celebrate the teams, partnerships, and programmes driving progress within our business and across the wider food -service sector.

Our Shortlisted Categories: Demonstrating Commitment to CO2e Reduction and Responsible Sourcing

Waste Prevention & Waste Management Award: Recognising our NESCAFÉ® furniture units, now made from 100% recycled materials, including waste plastic from our factories and used coffee grounds, as part of a closed-loop, zero-waste initiative.

Sustainable Supplier Award: Highlighting our holistic approach to responsible sourcing, emissions reduction, and youth skills development, from regenerative dairy farming with First Milk to our Choose Hospitality Pledge, engaging the next generation in hospitality.

Environmentally Efficient Logistics Award (Nestlé UK Ltd): Focusing on our CO2e reduction project, which has cut 2,000 tonnes of emissions from third-party logistics by integrating electric vehicles and renewable fuels like HVO, all while improving delivery efficiency and supporting supplier sustainability.

Sustainable Use of Water Award: Celebrating our work with Spanish tomato farmers to cut water use in the MAGGI® Rich & Rustic Tomato Sauce supply chain by over 1.4 million m³, using precision irrigation and soil health initiatives.
