Chocolate Buttermilk Muffins Made with KITKAT®

- 250ml Buttermilk
- 150ml Vegetable oil
- 100g Eggs (2)
- 300g plain flour
- 7g Baking powder
- 180g Caster sugar
- 40g chocolate chips
- 100G Kit Kat Sauce (10g per muffin)

1In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients for the muffins: plain flour, baking powder, and caster sugar.

2In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.

3Pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms. Stir in the chocolate chips.

4Line a muffin tray with muffin cases and fill each case halfway with the muffin batter.

5Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the muffins for approximately 16 minutes or until they are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.

6Remove the muffins from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Finish off the muffins by topping each one with a generous drizzle of KITKAT® sauce.
