Ingredients
For the muffin
  • 250ml Buttermilk
  • 150ml Vegetable oil
  • 100g Eggs (2)
  • 300g plain flour
  • 7g Baking powder
  • 180g Caster sugar
  • 40g chocolate chips
To finish
  • 100G Kit Kat Sauce (10g per muffin)
Preparation

    In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients for the muffins: plain flour, baking powder, and caster sugar.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.

    Pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms. Stir in the chocolate chips.

    Line a muffin tray with muffin cases and fill each case halfway with the muffin batter.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the muffins for approximately 16 minutes or until they are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.

    Remove the muffins from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Finish off the muffins by topping each one with a generous drizzle of KITKAT® sauce.
