Toque d’Or 2025 Finalists Revealed
We’re delighted to announce this year’s Toque d’Or competition finalists, following an action-packed Heats round which saw 48 students go head-to-head in a series of intense challenges across two days at The Grand Cookery School in York.
The Heats at The Grand Cookery School in York showcased 48 exceptional competitors who excelled in various masterclasses, culminating in a remarkable lunch service for 50 community and charity guests over two exciting days!

The Grand Finals will take place from 11th to 15th May 2025. Joining the judging panel for the Finals will be award-winning chef and restaurateur, Adam Handling, and winner of the 2023 Gold Service Scholarship and footman at The Royal Household, Jupiter Humphrey-Bishop.
Winner's Trip
It's Italy!
DATES: 1st week of July 2025
The overall winners of the competition will receive an incredible 1-week trip to Italy! The trip will take them to various locations in Italy, where they will experience the country's renowned gastronomy and culinary traditions. They will have the opportunity to explore Italian cuisine, taste regional specialties, and immerse themselves in the culinary culture of Italy. The trip will commence on the first week of July 2025.
