Nestlé Professional Appoints James Titmuss as New Head of Sales for UK & Ireland

Nestlé Professional announces James Titmuss as the new Head of Sales for the UK and Ireland, succeeding Steve Norris. With extensive experience in the Nestlé Purina ecosystem, James is set to advance the company's Out of Home market ambitions as Steve concludes 17 years of impactful leadership.

Leadership Transition

Nestlé Professional is pleased to announce the appointment of James Titmuss as the new Head of Sales for the UK and Ireland, succeeding Steve Norris, who is stepping down from his role as Sales Director.

Katya Simmons, Managing Director of Nestlé Professional, stated,

"James’ extensive commercial experience, strong customer focus, and strategic thinking make him an excellent addition to our leadership team as we continue to advance our ambitions in the Out of Home market.”

James Titmuss: A Wealth of Experience

James brings a wealth of experience from within the Nestlé Purina ecosystem. He previously served as the Market Development Organisation Director at Lily’s Kitchen, a Nestlé Purina company, where he also held the role of Sales Director. During his tenure at Lily’s Kitchen, James successfully led the global expansion into North America and played a pivotal role in establishing a new category, shopper, and insight function.

Prior to this, he spent over 20 years at Nestlé Purina, where he held various senior commercial roles across Specialist, Grocery, and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sectors. Notably, he was instrumental in developing the Nestlé Sales Academy, which is now implemented in several European markets.

James officially assumed his new position this month.

In expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, James remarked,

“I’m incredibly excited to join Nestlé Professional and be part of such a dynamic and purpose-driven team. It’s a true honor to follow in Steve’s footsteps, and I look forward to building on the solid foundations he has established, collaborating closely with our customers and teams to shape the next chapter of growth.”

Acknowledging Steve Norris

As Nestlé Professional welcomes James, the organisation also acknowledges the significant contributions of Steve Norris.

Katya Simmons expressed her gratitude, saying, “I would like to thank Steve Norris for his unwavering support, drive, commitment, and remarkable contributions over the past 17 years. As a valued member of the Nestlé Professional Leadership team, Steve's experience, passion, and expertise in the Out of Home channel have been invaluable to our business.”

Steve Norris: A Legacy of Leadership

Steve joined Nestlé Professional in 2008 as Wholesale Controller and became Sales Director in 2015. With over 40 years of experience in the Out of Home sector, he has brought a wealth of industry knowledge, energy, and passion to every role, from his early career as a chef to senior commercial leadership positions.

Reflecting on his departure, Steve commented, “For over nine years, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Nestlé Professional Leadership Team, and I am delighted that James Titmuss will be stepping in as the new Head of Sales.

As I embark on this exciting new chapter in my career, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Nestlé Professional and all the wonderful individuals I have had the pleasure of working with. I wish everyone at Nestlé all the very best for the future.”
