Partnering With Fareshare & Foodcloud

At Nestlé Professional®, food is our work and our passion, but it can be easy to understate the importance it plays in all our day to day lives. We have seen the impact that stockpiling, scarcity and job losses have had on so many people across the world over recent months, but we have also seen some incredible displays of community spirit to get food to those in need.

FareShare, the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, works to allocate surplus supplies from the food industry to almost 11,000 frontline charities and community groups. Another similar organisation, FoodCloud, delivers 160,000 meals each week to charities and community groups across Ireland.

We recognise the impact that the closure of many food service organisations has had on these two invaluable charities and so we are working with them to provide additional food products to the most vulnerable. Alongside our existing partnerships with FareShare and FoodCloud, we have contributed to the food packages sent to 1.5m vulnerable people identified by the UK Government during the outbreak.

We are proud to be able to supply high-quality food products to these crucial organisations at this time and would like to take the opportunity to thank their teams for the incredible work they continue to do every day.
