Aero Hot Chocolate PRODUCT RECALL
Nestlé UK & Ireland is voluntarily recalling the above AERO Hot Chocolate products including all batch codes and dates. This action is being taken as it has come to our attention that a very small number of packs may contain small (2mm – 3mm) food-grade silica beads.
Although these are not harmful if consumed, Nestlé sets very high standards for the quality of its products and any packs affected by this issue clearly fall short of those standards. This relates only to AERO Hot Chocolate and does not affect any other AERO products.
Purchases through www.coffeetogo.co.uk:
Please could we ask you to take the following action urgently if you still have product that has been purchased via our www.coffeetogo.co.uk webshop:
• Please block and remove from sale any packs of AERO GO Instant ‘Hot Choc’ cups (8 x 28g)
• Please contact our consumer service team on 00800 63785385 for information on how to claim reimbursement for any stock affected by this recall.
Indirect Customer purchases:
Please could we ask you to take the following action urgently if you still have any of the mentioned products.
• Please block and remove from sale any packs of the above products, keeping stock until further instructions have been provided by your supplier.
• Your supplier has been notified and should be in contact with the correct process for returns and refunds.
If you are a consumer:
Any consumers who have purchased any of the three products listed above are advised not to consume them, to dispose of the contents and send the lid of the jar, the empty sachet or the sleeve of the cups (cardboard of plastic 8-sleeve) with your name and address for a full refund to:
