RANGE AND FORMATS
Consumers can discover QUALITY STREET® in a range of formats including cartons, tins, tubs, pouch bag and Matchmakers:
The brand was formed in 1936 in the wake of the First World War and in the throes of the economic crisis when Harold Mackintosh – the son of a toffeemaker – recognised that nostalgia would resonate well during uncertain times. He designed brightly coloured tins featuring two characters wearing old fashioned dresses and wrapped them in paper bunting. The tin contained 18 sweets, each wrapped differently, providing a visual and sensual experience.
