In our 24/7 world, technological innovation is shaping the way we eat and drink.

The last few years have seen a rise in on-demand services with take-away apps, touch screen vending, smart ordering and contactless payment driving a convenience revolution.

For consumers, convenience comes first, and new research with One Poll reveals that over half of the respondents (60%) have eaten breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner on the go. What’s more, 42% of people are likely to use some form of technical innovation while drinking or dining*.

Our new BuzzBites report focusing on the hospitality sector, ‘HYPER-CONVENIENCE: Breaking boundaries to meet the needs of the 24/7 consumer’, has been designed to provide new insight and inspiration on how businesses are using the latest innovations in technology to gain a commercial advantage.

Marking the launch of the new report, the BuzzBites big bus tour on 22 June 2017 will bring together some of the biggest influencers from the world of hospitality to reveal how technology is leading the way in an increasingly demanding market and how the foodservice sector can benefit.

Highlighting the latest insight and trends and drawing on influencers from the world of hospitality, BuzzBites is an initiative that aims to bring the industry together to shine a light on the most current issues facing foodservice today.
