Method

INGREDIENTS 

10pc GARDEN GOURMET Sensational Burger

25g CHEF® Black Garlic Paste

 

Aromatic vegan demi-glace  

80g MAGGI® Demi-Glace

900ml water  

4g lemon thyme  

 

Garnish 

800g broccoli 

800g sugar snap peas 

50g pickled red onions  

30g flat leaved parsley  

120g spring onions  

50ml water   

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 250°C with a grill tray.  
  2. Smear the frozen GARDEN GOURMET Sensational Burger with CHEF Black Garlic Paste and grill in the oven for 7-9 min until core temp is 74°C.  
  3. Mix water, MAGGI Demi-Glace and bring to a boil for 3-5 min, infuse with lemon thyme.  
  4. Cut broccoli in small pieces and steam until al dente.  
  5. Blanch the sugar snap peas. 
  6. A la minute mix with pickled onions, blanched parsley and finely chopped spring onions and glaze together with broccoli & sugar snap peas. 

Chef's Tip

  • Glazing vegetables adds flavour and improves the visual appearance of the vegan steak recipe.  
  • Pan fry Sensational Burger with crushed garlic and thyme.
