Following a career that spanned many years working for Relais et Chateaux establishments in the U.K. & Michelin starred restaurants abroad, Andy Stacey decided to become a lecturer and fulfil his passion for the teaching side of his craft. He subsequently led 3 student teams to the final of Nestlé Professional Toque d’Or, winning the coveted trophy on two occasions.

Andy is now the Chair of National Judges and since experiencing Toque d’Or from both sides, acknowledges that the competition has enhanced and indeed transformed the lives as well as professional careers of many catering students. He believes that this proven competition provides a unique and exciting opportunity for students to work with industry experts whom educate, inspire and motivate them to achieve their goals.
